How It Works

Seresto Flea & Tick Collar for Cats contains two active ingredients that are continuously released in low amounts during wear. They distribute over your cat's skin and coat, helping kill fleas on contact and repel and kill ticks for up to 8 months when the collar is worn continuously according to the product label.

How to Use

Each collar is intended for use on one animal only.

• Remove the collar from its sealed packaging and unroll it.
• Place the collar around your cat's neck and adjust it so that two fingers fit comfortably between the collar and the neck.
• After adjusting the collar, thread the remaining end through the retaining loops. If the excess extends more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) beyond the loops, trim it unless the collar is being fitted to a growing kitten.
• Leave the collar on continuously for up to 8 months.
• Check the fit periodically and adjust if needed.
• Replace with a new collar after 8 months for continued flea and tick protection.

Water Resistance

• The collar does not need to be removed during normal exposure to water.
• It remains effective after occasional bathing, rain, or swimming when used according to the product label.
• Frequent bathing or swimming may shorten the duration of flea and tick protection. Refer to the product label for complete guidance.
